World Child Forum

6–9 July 2026 · Davos Congress Centre

The World Child Forum 2026 has come to a close.

The best moments happened in between – between the sessions, wherever people truly met one another. Ideas were born, friendships took root, and some of the questions raised will stay with us for a long time.

Our idea of an open workshop proved itself: open enough for new things to emerge, yet clear enough to keep us moving in the same direction.

The forum

A meeting place

From 6 to 9 July 2026, the Davos Congress Centre became a meeting place. Children, young people and adults from many different countries came together, playing, making music, debating, asking questions, looking for answers, and thinking together about the future, about peace, and about childhood.

A special moment

The mayor in our circle

One special moment was a visit from Landammann Philipp Wilhelm. The mayor of Davos sat down right in the middle of our circle, listened, asked questions and offered his support for the World Child Forum 2027.

And then there was the letter

What peace means to us

Together with Lorena Dunant, children and young people wrote to the Nobel Peace Center in Oslo – not to ask for anything, but to tell them what peace means to them. A few days later, three children delivered it in person.

The initiative

What if all the children of this world were to receive the Nobel Peace Prize?

At first the question sounded impossible. It was asked by a participant at the World Child Forum in the summer of 2024 — and it stayed. Then it became reality.

An initiative born from the spirit of the World Child Forum — one that shows: great change often begins with questions that at first seem impossible.

Now everyone may carry this message onward. All around the globe, actions have already grown from it — join the international campaign #WeArePeace, or support the petition with your signature.

Thank you

New bonds along the way

It's moments like these, and the new bonds formed along the way, that make us want to say thank you. Thank you to everyone who made this forum possible. Thank you to everyone who came and gave their time, their success stories, and their openness to what lies ahead. And thank you to all those who couldn't be with us this year, yet carried the World Child Forum with them all the same.

We'll meet again – because tomorrow can be different.
